Basic recommendations for our products :

  • Keep them in a dry place, away from light.
  • Store them in glass jars.
  • For first-time use, do not take several plants together.

Internal Use

1. Leaves and Flowers

🌿 Infusion: a method that consists of pouring boiling water over the most delicate parts of the plants to extract their active compounds.

  • Use 10 to 15 g and place them in a 500 ml cup with an infuser.
  • Bring water to a boil.
  • Pour the hot water into the cup.
  • Cover the cup.
  • Let steep for 15 minutes and drink.

2. Roots (r) and Seeds (g)

🪵 Decoction: a method that consists of boiling the hardest parts of the plants in water to extract their active compounds.

  • (r) Roots
    • Boil 4 cups of water with one root. The pot should remain covered.
    • Reduce heat to medium.
    • Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
    • Strain and drink.
  • (g) Seeds
    • For each cup of water, boil 1 tablespoon of seeds. The pot should remain covered.
    • Reduce heat to medium.
    • Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
    • Strain and drink.

3. Supplements

  • Add 1 to 2 teaspoons to your smoothies, shakes, or yogurts.

Guidelines for a herbal cure

⚠️ Precaution: Do not combine herbal cures with medications unless advised by a healthcare professional.
  • Medicinal plants: drink 2 to 3 cups of herbal tea per day for 3 weeks.
  • Supplements: take 1 to 2 tablespoons per day for 3 weeks.

Roots and seeds can be reused up to 3 times.

Cures can be repeated, but you must take at least a one-week break before starting another.

In general, it takes at least 3 months to feel the benefits of the cures.

External Use

1. 💨 Steam Inhalation

This method helps to clear the respiratory tract.

  • Prepare a decoction with a handful of Uda seeds.
  • Pour the decoction into a wide, stable bowl.
  • Wait 1 to 2 minutes (to avoid burns).
  • Sit comfortably in front of the bowl.
  • Cover your head with a large towel to retain the steam.
  • Close your eyes (to avoid irritation) and inhale the steam for 5 to 10 minutes.
⚠️ Precaution: Wait at least 1 hour before going outside after an inhalation. Dilated nasal passages increase vulnerability to microbes.

If needed, repeat up to 2 times per day.

2. 🛁 Herbal Bath

This method is used to relieve pain or soothe skin and digestive discomforts depending on the plants used.

Depending on the plant, prepare an infusion or decoction (see above). Use approximately 170 g of plants per liter of water.

  • For a cold bath :
    • Let the mixture cool to room temperature with the lid closed.
    • Refrigerate until it reaches between 10 and 18°C.
    • Strain and pour into a basin.
    • Sit in the basin for 3 to 10 minutes.
    • Pat dry gently with a clean towel.
  • For a hot bath :
    • Let the mixture cool slightly with the lid closed (the bath should be taken as hot as you find comfortable).
    • Strain and pour into a basin.
    • Wear socks and cover your legs to retain heat.
    • Sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
    • Pat dry gently with a soft towel.

If needed, repeat up to 3 times per day.
